The Keepers
October 2023
This photo sequenced video project explores the interconnection between what we call work
as artists versus what manual laborers call work. There is an intention to develop the image of
the hand and share its capacity for intimacy while laboring. The written and spoken text tells
the story of these workers and the upkeep needed to preserve and enhance the landscape.
